ORP sensors work based on the principle of redox reaction. When there are oxidants or reductants in the water, they will undergo oxidation or reduction reactions under the action of the ORP sensor, thereby changing the redox state of the water. By measuring this change, the ORP sensor can derive the redox potential of the water and then evaluate the redox state of the water. Core components of ORP sensors The core components of ORP sensors are ORP composite electrodes composed of indicator electrodes and reference electrodes made of precious metals (such as platinum or gold).
