Types of infrared sensors
Infrared sensors are devices that can detect and measure infrared radiation. They are widely used in security, automatic control, medical, communication, and aerospace. According to different working principles and applications, infrared sensors can be divided into the following types:
Thermonuclear sensor: uses the thermonuclear effect to convert thermal energy into a voltage signal, and measures the temperature change of the infrared radiation object to achieve temperature detection and measurement.
Thermonuclear sensor: uses the change in resistance value to measure temperature. The temperature change of infrared radiation affects the resistance value of the conductor. By measuring the change in resistance value, the temperature of the infrared radiation object can be obtained.
Thermal conductivity sensor: uses the change in the thermal conductivity of the material to measure the concentration of the gas. When infrared radiation passes through the gas, it will cause the thermal motion of the molecules in the gas, thereby changing the thermal conductivity of the material. The concentration of the gas can be obtained by measuring the change in thermal conductivity.
Infrared array sensor: An array composed of multiple infrared sensors that can measure multiple points at the same time. It is widely used in infrared cameras, infrared thermal images, and other fields.
Infrared grating sensor: uses the diffraction principle of the grating to convert infrared radiation into light signals. By measuring the change in light intensity, information about infrared radiation can be obtained.
Infrared detector: uses the effect of infrared radiation on the electromagnetic properties of materials to detect infrared radiation. Common infrared detectors include infrared thermometric sensors, photorealism, etc.
